Ryan Selkis, the ex-CEO of Messari, has introduced his latest project that merges cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, and backing Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.

This new endeavor, called "Project Solomon," aims to support Donald Trump’s bid for a second term in the White House and build a modernized version of Washington using advanced technologies like blockchain.

Selkis believes that the advancement of an open internet, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence will be the top three challenges for America in the next decade.

With Selkis boosting his endorsement of Trump, the Republican candidate has moved ahead of Democratic rival Kamala Harris. Data from Polymarket reveals a 6-7% difference between Trump’s odds of winning and Harris’s chances in the upcoming November presidential election.

Selkis outlined his plans on X less than three months after resigning as Messari’s CEO. In July, he left the company amidst rising political debates and intense social media discussions regarding the U.S. elections.

As a long-time figure in the crypto community and social commentator, Selkis established Messari in 2018 to provide additional transparency in the digital asset sector.

Messari became recognized as a key source for decentralized finance data, cryptocurrency research, and on-chain governance updates for web3 users.

In one of his final prominent actions as Messari’s leader, Selkis accused the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of corruption and poor oversight of crypto matters. He expressed his readiness to confront the SEC and its chair, Gary Gensler, and announced his decision to halt all collaboration with the Wall Street regulator.
