ARO Network Raises $2.1 Million to Build Decentralized Internet Infrastructure
Singapore, July 28, 2025 – ARO Network has raised $2.1 million in early-stage funding to build a new kind of internet system. Their goal is to create a decentralized edge cloud that uses people’s spare internet and computer power to deliver content and run AI tasks faster and cheaper.
The funding round was led by NoLimit Holdings and Dispersion Capital, with support from Escape Velocity, Maelstrom, and several individual investors.
What Is ARO Network?
ARO Network is building a peer-to-peer content delivery network (P2P CDN). Instead of relying on traditional data centers, it uses idle internet connections and devices from users around the world to deliver content more efficiently.
This technology has already been proven before. A similar system reached 1.5 million active nodes and generated $140 million in annual revenue, especially in regions where fast internet is lacking.
Now, ARO is taking this idea further, aiming to compete directly with traditional CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) in both developing and developed countries.
