Ethereum ($ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency, has surged past $4,600 for the first time since late 2021. This rally started earlier this month and is being driven mainly by institutional investors and Ethereum ETFs.

Big money is flowing in — data from SoSo Value shows over $1 billion in inflows on Monday alone, with BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF contributing $640 million of that. Other companies, like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion, have also increased their ETH holdings significantly.

In just one week, ETH’s price has jumped 27%, and it’s up nearly 7% in the past 24 hours, now trading at $4,623. If this trend continues, traders are likely to look for other coins — especially ERC-20 tokens — that could also see strong growth.
