UFC and Fightfi Team Up for Web3 Loyalty Program

UFC is working with Fightfi through its platform Fight.ID to improve digital engagement for fans around the world. Fight.ID lets fans connect with athletes through on-chain identity, rewards, and digital merchandise. It also partners with UFC Strike collectibles and plans to add more features that combine ownership of digital assets with loyalty benefits.

To grow the project, Fight.ID recently raised money from major investors such as Anthos Capital, Aptos Foundation, Aquanow Ventures, Blockchain Coinvestors, Fabric VC, Jupiter, and Memeland. Some UFC fighters, including Gilbert Burns, Josh Emmett, Vicente Luque, and Alexandre Pantoja, also joined the funding, along with well-known figures from sports and entertainment.

The funds will be used to develop Web3 products, including programmable rewards, fan interactions, and tools for digital ownership. These efforts build on Fight.ID’s work with UFC digital collectibles over the past three years.

UFC praised Fight.ID as an innovative partner. Grant Norris-Jones, UFC’s head of global partnerships, said they are excited to support Fight.ID for years to come.

Fight.ID CEO James Zhang added that now is the best time to invest in blockchain projects, inviting all fight fans to join the digital ownership movement.
