Coinfest Asia 2025 Opens in Bali, Welcomes 10,000 Crypto Enthusiasts from 90 Countries
BALI, August 21, 2025 – Coinfest Asia 2025, the world’s largest crypto festival, officially opened at Nuanu Creative City, Bali. The event gathered over 10,000 participants from 90 countries, featuring 300 speakers and 100 side events. It highlighted Southeast Asia’s growing role in Web3 adoption by combining industry insights, culture, and community.
Global Speakers and Insights
The first day presented big names such as Rachel Conlan (Binance), Kevin Kwong (9GAG & Memeland), Amanda Cassatt (Serotonin), and Stephan Lutz (BitMEX). Discussions centered on institutional adoption, global market outlook, and Asia’s role in shaping the Web3 future.
One key highlight was Tokenize Indonesia, a program connecting local institutions like BRI Ventures, Pegadaian, and PosDigi with global blockchain players such as Ripple, IOTA, Stellar, and Fireblocks. The goal was to bridge traditional finance with Web3 innovation through real projects.

Major crypto brands including Polkadot, Sui, Binance, Tokocrypto, and Pintu hosted creative spaces to connect with communities. The exhibition hall was filled with companies like Indodax, Triv, Bybit, and Manta showcasing their latest innovations. Coinstore even brought a “Mini Zoo,” while Anichess, Memeland, and arcade games kept the event fun and interactive.
Bali-Style Networking
As the evening arrived, the festival shifted into Bali’s nightlife spirit with beach parties, sunset gatherings, karaoke, and even an IRL airdrop experience. This mix of serious business and Bali’s laid-back atmosphere made Coinfest stand out as both professional and lively.
Culture and Community
The night ended with Balinese cultural performances like the Ogoh Ogoh parade and Kecak dance, blending tradition with Web3’s global energy. The Arena Stage also featured meme-inspired panels and a vibrant after-party powered by Indodax, wrapping up the day with music, creativity, and celebration.
Felita Setiawan, Director of Indonesia Crypto Network (ICN), said that this year all side events were held within the venue. “It gave companies more freedom to be creative and made it easier for attendees to enjoy everything in one place.”
